"Bacchus" Miniature Stained Glass Door - detail
| Description: | Miniature door with stained glass rectangular panel and semi-circular transom comprised of bloodwood, sterling silver, fine silver, and vitreous enamels applied using the plique-a-jour technique of enameling. Center cameo motif depicts a young Bacchus drinking wine with grapes, kegs, and scenic background surrounding it. The curved transom depicts a bottle of wine, 2 glasses of wine, and hanging clusters of grapes. Rectangular stained glass panel is approximately 4 inches tall x 2 1/8 inches wide. One-of-a-kind, signed, and numbered. Wooden door created by Gary Goodman, enameled panels created by Diane Echnoz Almeyda. |
